Todd is superb at managing individuals or groups. He is a great teacher if you need instruction. He can show you the proper technique. He knows and uses a variety of premium sound fishing equipment. He can tell you what you could use for each type of fish. He is a master at the art of playing fish thoughtfully and with skill. Each expedition you can learn something new in mastering the art of fly and spey fishing. (He can also show you how to spin or drift fish.)

Todd has 18 years of fly-tying experience. He ties flies for his client's expeditions and he commercially ties custom flies. Todd's flies are classic, innovative and preternatural.

SPEY FISHING
Spey fishing is fly-fishing with a 2 handed rod. Spey fishing maximizes the time your fly is in the river, eliminating the need to false cast.

For over twenty years Todd has discovered, explored and studied fish behavior and habitat; creeks, rivers, and the ocean. His eyes are trained through continuous detailed observations. He is consistently attentive and up to date on flies, innovative equipment, lures, fish tips, hatch cycles, presentation, returning runs of salmon, seasons, tides, the moon, water and weather conditions. He enjoys new fishing grounds, methods and techniques. He regards and understands the language of nature.
